Psychology

My therapeutic style is an integrative approach that incorporates person centred practice, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness based interventions.

Psychology sessions take place in tranquil private rooms at Eatsense by ORS in Erina, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am-4pm.

My areas of interest include working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also enjoy working with people who are managing life transitions and seeking to find harmony with their truest self.

I am proud to work with all members of my community, from children to seniors, inclusive of all abilities, cultures, and those that identify as LGBTQIA+.

Equine Therapy

Equine Assisted Therapy for mental health involves a qualified therapist (in this case Psychologist) delivering evidence-based interventions with the aid and support of attuned, perceptive and well care for horses.

Equine Assisted Psychology sessions are facilitated Fridays at the C Horses property in Galston from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Horses are incredible at reading and reacting to their environment. The are highly relational beings that are very capable of responding to the nervous systems of others. Horses are see how we show up in the world, their gentle and non-judgemental feedback allows us to shift and evaluate in safe connection with another.

This modality is often preferred by clients who are seeking an alternative or a complimentary therapy to traditional clinic based psychology.

Equine Assisted Mental Health Sessions can be facilitated for people with no prior experience with horses. Sessions can also be facilitated for participants with physical limitations or disabilities. Please contact me so we can discuss accessibility requirements.
